Andouille is a hard, smoked, highly-seasoned pork sausage which is a favourite French "petit gateaux" served when having "aperitifs". The Andouille sausage itself is a speciality of our region. The "Foire à l'Andouille" is a 3 day exhibition, set in Vire (Calvados), where French "Artisans" exhibit their goods. This years Foire was full of Andouille, as well as snails, oysters, ostrich, pigeon, cider, wines, honey and the list could go on. For us, the most interesting stall wasn't inside the exhibition hall, but was outside; catching everyone's attention before they got chance to sample a slice of andouille washed down with a glass of Bordeaux......
We were very pleased to be approached by a local garden creation company who used our paving stones before in one of their earlier projects. (Please click here for more pictures of this project). They put together a very professional and eye-catching exhibition, of both our products and other products which they use in their many creations. Please see the pictures below.
